We provide a welcoming professional space for those who identify as Asian, South Asian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and/or Pacific Islander (AANHPI) and seek to connect with others of AANHPI origins. We also welcome individuals who are interested in supporting, studying, and advocating for the mental health needs of AANHPI populations. In this meeting, we will have distinguished AANHPI leaders in the field share their journeys and insights, announce inaugural SIG student poster award, and have discussions around developing new positions within the SIG. Together, we will process the professional and mental health impact of the current social environment for our AANHPI communities. We will also provide time for members to socialize and discuss research collaboration opportunities.
